OUR MISSION

Soroptimist International of Clark County (SICC)  is part of a global volunteer organization. Our club provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.​

“Soroptimist” is loosely translated from Latin and means “best for women.” Founded in Oakland, California, in 1921, Soroptimist International now operates in 120 countries with over 100,000 women members around the world. SICC was chartered in1948 and is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas (SIA), which includes Canada, Mexico, Japan, the Philippines, and South and Central America.
